What is DirektTausch?
Drei DirektTausch replaces your current phone easy & convenient with a smartphone which is refurbished to an ‘as new’ standard.
What devices can be covered?
Drei DirektTausch is available for all devices which are provided with new Drei contracts and with contract prolongations (limited to Retail points of sale only).
How many times can I switch in 1 year?
The switch is available 2 times during any 12-month period commencing from the contract start date. So if you request a switch, we look back at the latest 12-month period following your sign-up to see how many times you have switched. If this is less than 2, you can switch again.
What phones are available during a Switch?
Switch your current device for a phone refurbished to an 'as new' standard of same model & specifications.
Same model with different color
You liked your old Smartphone but you're ready for a new color? Replace your phone with a refurbished model to an 'as new' standard and select a different color.
Different brand or model
Feel like switching handset brand or style? Choose from our predefined models selection and receive a different brand or style of phone within the same generation and price range.
Now that I've chosen my new handset what exactly do I have to do to make a switch?
Firstly, check the device you want to switch is registered with us, then turn off 'Find my iPhone' or similar services, pay the switch fee and choose your delivery address. When the driver arrives, you must show your personal ID and hand over your registered device.
How do I pay the switch fee?
You can either pay the switch fee via credit card (Visa & MasterCard) or via Sofort-Überweisung. The amount of the switch fee is subject to your handset tier chosen with your DirektTausch contract. Please note: If you do not return your contractually covered handset, additional costs could apply. You will find the identification number of the eligible device in your personal web portal area.
When can I expect my replacement device to arrive?
